These photographs were taken about 1958 during a survey dry - dock at Garden Reach Workshops, Calcutta. Fitting the spare propeller.

One of the 'Hippo's being loaded - note it was American Aid and was discharged at Calcutta and it was still on the quayside about 6 months later after we had carried out a return trip to Oz!!!
Thought to be Darling Harbour on New Year's Day '57
Canara berthed opposite the Carpentaria in Darling Harbour in February '59.
